New Executive-in-Residence at Physic Ventures

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - Physic Ventures is pleased to announce that former Founding CEO of Method, Alastair Dorward, is joining the team on a project assignment as Executive-in-Residence. Mr. Dorward will be working with William Rosenzweig and Andy Donner, along with strategic partners, to explore innovative opportunities. 

At Method, Mr. Dorward created a brand that disrupted several pre-existing home and personal care categories across the delivery spectrum - from design to environmental responsibility to channel strategy.

Mr. Dorward was responsible for driving Method from pre-revenue to over $100MM in seven years, earning the company recognition in Inc. magazine as the fastest growing company in California. Prior to joining Method, from 1996 to 2000, he was Founder and CEO of Covent Garden, a refrigerated soup brand. Before finding his passion as a consumer goods entrepreneur, Mr. Dorward served for five years as a consultant with Bain & Company, providing strategic advice to clients in the United Kingdom, Eastern Europe, and California. He is a graduate of Oxford University, with an MBA from INSEAD Business School.
